Explosive Kids Spring Hockey Development Program
Keeping the FUN in Fundamentals! Instructed by Certified School Teachers/Youth Development Specialists/!
Our Explosive Kids Hockey Development Program is designed for kids who have some basic skating experience (such as Pre-Skate, Intro to Hockey, Might Mites or Jr. Timbits) and are comfortable moving around the ice on their own. This is an initiation level program offering kids the opportunity to experience the sport of hockey in a fun, safe and caring environment. Kids will learn basic skills through games and activities that focus on the fundamentals of hockey (stick handling, passing, receiving, and shooting) as well as the fundamentals of skating (striding, stopping, turning and skating backwards). Kids will experience explosive games, fun and a play-based approach to development. Each session will consist of a development portion and game play portion. They will get lots of puck time!!
Full CSA approved hockey gear is required.
CSA approved helmet with full face mask
Proper fitting sharpened skates
Appropriate size hockey stick
Shoulder, elbow and shin pads
Athletic Supporter (jock)
Dates: Mondays from April 9th - June 18th (NO CLASS MAY 21st or June 4th)
Location: Murray Buchanan (Gold) Ice for April & May. Genesis Place Shane Homes Ice for June 11th & 18th
Cost: $299+tx (includes jersey, socks, swag bag with water bottle, skate guards and helmet sticker)

REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE WHEN YOU'VE SUBMITTED BOTH THE PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FORM PORTIONS. YOUR PAYPAL RECEIPT IS YOUR CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR SPOT IS RESERVED IN THE CLASS.
REFUND POLICY: Refund will be granted if participant withdraws from the program with at least 14 days notice prior to program commencement date. However, a non-refundable administration fee of $25 per participant per program will be charged. If a refund is requested less than 14 days prior to program commencement date, a doctor’s note will be required for a refund (less $25 admin fee). If the facility cancels a program, a full reimbursement will be issued.
